Here’s what we KNOW to be true:
There’s no such thing as “job security”
Women, especially Black women, are too often the last hired and the first fired.

On top of that, the pension is peanuts and social security won’t be around when we retire.

We can’t sit back and twiddle our thumbs hoping the government sorts it out. We have to build a better pension plan, one with unlimited earning potential!



Higher education is not the solution
Black women are the highest educated and the lowest paid people in the workforce.

And not only is this education resulting in lower incomes, it’s driving us further into student loan debt, pushing further back any hope of financial freedom.

This isn’t a we-don’t-know-enough problem. We have to stop feeling inferior and basing our worth in how many letters are behind our names.



Entrepreneurship alone isn‘t enough
Even when we do work for ourselves, women statistically pay themselves less than white cis men and hit an income wall of $50k per year.

And, Black Women take less than half of that, at only $24k in annual revenue (AKA below the Federal poverty line for a household of four).

Earning our own money isn’t enough, we need to earn enough to make a difference in our lives, families, and communities.
